Allen, Charles. The Operator for Teeth. York: unknown, 1685. Print.
This is a great primary source to use for my project for my reasons. The man to wrote this book, wrote it from his own experience, and findings from researching. This book was helpful because it is form the time period that my project focuses on. This book is a good source for me to use because it gives understandable explanations. This book provided insight that a website made by someone in modern times could not give to its readers/viewers. Being the first book written on dentistry, this book give a lot of insight on the thoughts of people during the 1600’s, early 1700’s.

Miller, Willoughby. The Microorganisms of the Human Mouth. Philadelphia: American Journal of the Medical Sciences, 1891. 159. eBook.
This book was written in 1891, which is around the time that the dentistry field begin to have lots of new discoveries. This book talks about microorganisms that are found inside the human mouth. In 1891, this was a big discovery for dentist. Learning about the some of the smallest things in the world can be amazing. Tis book helped me with my project because it was very useful and descriptive. Unlike websites, it didn't have any extra links to click on to find out more information so the information provided was very good and vivid for the time that it was written.

Healthyteeth.org is a colorful and exciting site that provides information on everything from how many teeth are in your mouth to preventing cavities and root canals. The information that was provided on this site was similar to the information that I found on most of the other websites while doing my research. Although unlike many of the other websites I found, Healthyteeth.org has a quiz and challenge link so that after reading through the website, you can review you knowledge and maybe even learn more. There are many animations that help the reader of the information understand the text more than they would if there weren’t any.
